This site is general information

The pages on this website describe, in general terms, how child welfare, custody, divorce and support matters work. They are not legal advice and they are not a substitute for talking to a lawyer about your own situation. Laws and court procedures differ from place to place and change over time.

No attorney-client relationship yet

Reading this site, sending a message, calling or emailing the firm does not make you our client and does not make us your lawyers. That relationship begins only when we agree to represent you and both sides have signed a written fee agreement. Until then, we cannot keep what you send us confidential in the way we would for a client.

This site does not advertise results. Any outcome described anywhere on it is general and illustrative. Every case is different, and the result of one matter does not predict the result of another.

Please don't send confidential details

Do not put confidential information, such as details of a case, medical or financial records, or the names of children, in the contact form or in an email before we have spoken and agreed to work together. We will tell you how to send documents safely once we have.
